Your project. Your information.
This page explains how the inquiry form on this website uses the information you choose to share.
What the form collects
Your name, preferred contact detail, project town, service selection, project description and any optional timing, callback preferences, answers or lighting mood are saved with the time of submission and a request reference.
Unfinished drafts
Where browser storage is available, unfinished inquiry details, attached conversations and reduced photos are kept in this browser tab so you can return after a reload or a visit to another page. They expire after 24 hours. Use “Clear this draft” to remove them sooner. Submitting clears the draft and keeps a receipt in the tab. Nothing in a draft is sent to Ryan until you submit the inquiry.
For the signed-in owner, unfinished customer estimates can also be recovered in the same tab for up to 24 hours. These drafts do not create a customer link or send a message. Browser storage may be unavailable in some private browsing settings.
Project photos
Photos you attach to an inquiry are reduced in size in your browser, which removes the original file metadata, and stored privately with the inquiry. They are accessible to the authenticated business owner. Attaching photos does not authorize publishing them on this website or social media.
Optional AI project assistant
If you choose to use the AI assistant, your messages and selected project photos are sent to OpenAI to generate answers. Voice messages are sent for transcription, and answers you choose to hear are sent for speech generation. Recordings stop after 45 seconds. Review transcribed text before sending it. AI answers can be incorrect and do not confirm electrical safety, pricing or appointments.
Where browser storage is available, your assistant conversation, unsent typed message, reviewed summary and reduced photos are kept in this tab for up to 24 hours so you can recover them after navigation or reload. Audio recordings are not saved by this website. Use “Clear and start a new conversation” in the review screen to clear this assistant draft; a confirmed inquiry submission also clears it. If you attach the conversation when submitting an inquiry, the labeled messages are saved privately with that inquiry. You can review or remove that attachment before submitting. OpenAI may retain API data according to its service policies. Read OpenAI’s privacy policy. To contact Ryan, review your project notes and submit the inquiry form. Only then are those notes, any attached conversation and photos saved with your inquiry.
To control costs and prevent misuse, the assistant records a random request identifier, request type, timestamp, conservative cost allowance and a daily salted hash of the request’s IP address. These records contain no conversation, photos, recordings or raw IP address. They are used for monthly and daily usage limits. Microphone access begins only when you choose to record and stops when you finish or close the assistant.
Electrical Design Studio
When you allow AI processing and choose to create or revise a concept, the selected photo, any current concept, your instructions and marked locations are sent to OpenAI to produce an edited image. These are proposed visual ideas, not photos of completed work or verified site conditions. The original, latest concept, one previous concept, notes and markers are saved in this browser tab for up to 24 hours where storage is available. Use “Start over” to clear them. Keep the page open while generating; an interrupted request may not return its image.
Choosing “Review with Ryan” carries the original photo, selected concept and notes into the inquiry form. Review or remove these before submitting. Nothing is sent to Ryan until you submit that form. Concepts are labeled for the owner and excluded from automated photo assessment of existing site conditions. AI processing uses the same request ledger and monthly spending controls as the project assistant, with a separate daily and monthly limit for images. OpenAI may retain API data according to its service policies.
Lighting mood preview
A photo selected on the lighting preview page stays in your browser and is not uploaded. The reduced original photo, selected mood and brightness are saved in this browser tab for up to 24 hours. Following “Discuss this look” carries them to the inquiry form for review. The photo treatment is not attached as evidence of existing conditions. Nothing is sent to Ryan until you submit the inquiry.
Estimates and approvals
Submitting an inquiry starts private preliminary planning with OpenAI when the connection and website allowance permit. Ryan retrieves and reviews this work in his private workspace. Planning uses your submitted project description, attached conversation, selected project answers and available project photos. Contact fields are not included in this request; avoid putting sensitive information in project notes. Private estimating runs may use background processing with Responses stored at OpenAI so Ryan can recover interrupted work. The website also retains versioned source records, drafts, review findings and usage records privately for Ryan to review and edit. AI suggestions are not supplier prices or a customer quote. Ryan decides the final scope and price before sharing an estimate.
Ryan can prepare an estimate from an inquiry and share a private link. Anyone with that link can view the estimate, so share it only with people involved in the project. If you approve it, the name you enter and the approval time are saved. Estimate pages do not collect card or bank details, process a payment, or load advertising tags.
How your details are used
Ryan Morrison Electrical uses these details to review and respond to your inquiry. Submitting a form does not book an appointment, accept a quote or sign you up for marketing messages.
Storage and access
Inquiries are stored through this website’s hosting infrastructure and are available in an inbox restricted to the business owner’s authenticated account. When email delivery is enabled, an email provider processes a copy of your inquiry to send it to the business email address. Hosting providers may process technical request information to operate and protect the service.
Spam prevention
The form uses a hidden spam-check field and temporary, hashed request information to limit repeated submissions. The form does not store your raw IP address. Temporary rate-limit records expire after their hourly window and are cleared during later submissions.
Cookies and advertising measurement
The hosting service may use cookies for access and sign-in, including the owner inbox.
Advertising measurement is currently off. This website does not load a Google advertising tag.
